Thunderstorm in Udaipur

Already for more than one month, we practically always had cloudless skies and an average of 37°C in the shade.

But in the early morning we notice that the nearby mountains are covered in a dense haze. During the whole day, there is barely a breeze and the temperatures rise rapidly up to 39°C in the shade.

Finally, around 6 p.m. an almost black cloud front comes up from the east. Within minutes it starts to pour like a bucket.

We sit on the - fortunately covered - roof terrace and enjoy the great spectacle and the very welcome cooling down.
