Sekumpul Waterfalls

At more than 80 meters high, the Sekumpul waterfalls are not only the highest waterfalls on Bali, but in my opinion also the most beautiful.

They are located in the north of the island in a gorge below the small village of Sekumpul. From the village, a small hiking trail with steep steps leads down into the gorge. Even from the steep path you have a spectacular view of the Sekumpul waterfall in the middle of the jungle. But there are also two other waterfalls nearby, the “hidden Waterfall” and the “Fiji Waterfall”.

Tip for your visit to the Sekumpul waterfalls:
If you stay overnight in a hotel up in Sekumpul, you get a discount on the entrance fee.
There are 3 different entrance fees:

  1. Sekumpul Waterfall Viewpoint.
  2. Viewpoint, plus access to the Sekumpul Waterfall and the “Hidden Waterfall”
  3. On the way to the “Fiji Waterfall” you come to another ticket counter where you have to pay again as it belongs to another owner.
