Pura Ulun Danu Bratan temple complex

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan (“Temple of the Spring of Lake Bratan”) is an important temple complex of Balinese Hinduism in Bali.
The temple complex is located in the mountains at an altitude of 1200 meters on the western shore of the Bratan volcanic lake.
The “water temple” was built in 1663 and is used for sacrificial ceremonies to the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu.
