Lake Badi

Lake Badi is located 12km north of Udaipur.
Maharana Raj Singh I (1652-1680) had the lake artificially created to secure the water supply for Udaipur.

After more than 2 1/2 months of lockdown in Udaipur, it felt so good to finally be able to make a little trip with my motorcycle again. Cheryl, the American, accompanied me and together we made a short hike on one of the surrounding mountains to enjoy the great view.

When we reached the top of the mountain, I spotted a lizard about 30 cm tall, which was wriggling in the morning sun and didn't let himself be disturbed even when I came closer and closer with my camera.
