The Sekumpul waterfalls are not only the highest waterfalls in Bali with a height of more than 80 meters, but in my opinion also the most beautiful.
The blue flames of Mount Ijen
The 2386m high volcano Ijen is located on the south-easternmost tip of the Indonesian island of Java, right next to Bali. It is famous for its “blue lava”, which is actually liquid sulphur at a temperature of 538 degrees, which ignites immediately on contact with the air. Its turquoise crater lake consists of concentrated sulphuric acid.
